Golf Tournament for Youth Development - June 22
We're hosting our Golf Tournament for Youth Development. This year is a special one marking the 75th Anniversary of the Canadian Athletic Club. The Canadian Athletic Club (CAC) will be hosting their tournament on Friday, June 22 at the Sturgeon Valley Golf Club in conjunction with the CAC Homecoming.

Allan Olson
Long time CAC member Allan Olson passed away on April 5th.
Allan joined CAC in the 1950's as a player. He then coached, was a director and in 1963 was made a life member. He was a member of the CAC Beaver Alumni for many years and volunteered in the CAC hockey school for over 25 years.
A celebration of his life will be held at the CAC arena on Sunday April 22 at 1:00.

CAC Gives Back
CAC players, coaches and friends participated in a 30-hour marathon charity fundraiser in support of Valour Place, a home away from home for injured Canadian soldiers, veterans, RCMP and their families.
A group of Canadian soldiers recently returned from Afghanistan hosted the Charity Hockey/Sledge Hockey Marathon where the Afghan veterans' hockey team played 24 hockey teams during the marathon. CAC fielded two teams, playing for 2 of the 30 hours.
Over $21,000 was raised for the cause. Congratulations to those who participated.
